NSA Releases Postings for 18,416 Trained Teachers for the 2026/27 Service Year, Starting 4th May.

The Management of the National Service Authority (NSA) has today, April 22, 2026, released postings for Eighteen Thousand, Four Hundred and Sixteen (18,416) eligible Trained Teachers to enable them to enroll for the 2026/27 National Service Year.

The postings comprise eligible candidates who successfully graduated from accredited Colleges of Education.

All eligible trained teachers are requested to visit the Authority’s website, https://gnsa.gov.gh/home, and click on the portal to access their respective place of postings and follow the stated procedures to complete the regional validation.

The National Service for the Eighteen Thousand, Four Hundred and Sixteen (18,416) eligible Trained Teachers begins on Monday, 4th May 2026.

How Posted Teachers Can Check Their Placements

Eligible teachers have been directed to access their postings through the official website of the National Service Authority via  https://gnsa.gov.gh/

The Authority noted that all posted personnel must follow the procedures outlined on the portal to complete the required validation process.

Regional Validation Period

Management has also announced the schedule for the regional validation exercise.

Validation Begins April 22, 2026
Validation Ends May 15, 2026
Service Commences May 4, 2026

The Regional validation exercise begins on Wednesday, 22nd April 2026, and ends on Friday, 15th May 2026.

Management, therefore, urges all prospective National Service Personnel to complete the regional validation within the stipulated period.

The Authority further reminds the general public that, in accordance with the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), every Ghanaian citizen who is eighteen (18) years or older and has completed an accredited tertiary institution, which includes Universities and Teacher Training Colleges are mandated by law to undertake national service to the State.
