The National Teaching Council (NTC) has officially released the results for the 2026 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE 1), bringing relief and anticipation to thousands of candidates across the country.
The announcement confirms the completion of the marking and verification processes and the publication of results through the Council’s online portal.
According to the NTC, all candidates who sat for the examination can now access their results via the official results platform.

How to Check the 2026 GTLE 1 Results
Candidates are required to follow the steps below to access their results:
- Visit the official NTC examination portal at https://exams.ntc.gov.gh
- Locate and click on the “Check Results” section on the homepage
- Enter your login details, which may include your Serial Number and PIN or your Index Number and registered phone number
- Submit the details to view your result
- Download or print the result slip for future reference
Understanding the Results
| RESULT STATUS | MEANING |
| PASS | The candidate has successfully passed the examination and can proceed with the licensing process. |
| R (Resit) | The candidate is required to rewrite only the failed paper(s). |
| F (Fail) | The candidate is required to rewrite all papers. |
