The Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), in a statement released on the 8th of July, 2026, hereby brings to the public’s attention that the Commission has not accredited the following 15 Learning Centres/Campuses and 36 institutions, which have expired institutional accreditation.

GTEC strongly advises prospective students, parents, guardians, and the general public to verify the accreditation status of all institutions, Learning Centres, and academic programmes directly with the Commission before applying for admission.

Enrolling in unaccredited institutions or Learning Centres poses significant risks, including the possible loss of time, financial resources, and future career opportunities.

This notice is issued to safeguard the public, prevent misinformation, and protect individuals from potential exploitation.
