The Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) will undertake a nationwide exercise to review and validate the pension documents of all CAP 30 pensioners and beneficiaries.
The primary objective of this exercise is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Government of Ghana (GoG) Pension Payroll, enhance the efficient management of the CAP 30 Pension Scheme, and maintain a credible and up-to-date pension database.
The exercise will be conducted within one month, starting from the 3rd to 28th August, 2026 (excluding weekends and holidays)
All CAP 30 Pensioners and Beneficiaries are required to go to the designated places nearest to them for the exercise with the following;
- Pension Advice
- Pension Form 1
Widows and guardians are also required to present the birth certificates of the beneficiary minor (s) in their care.
The nationwide exercise is scheduled to take place at the following designated locations:

CAP 30 Pensioners and Beneficiaries in the diaspora are to visit the Ghana Missions in their State or Country of residence with copies of the required documents.
