The 2026 Ghana Gas scholarship application is open to qualified Ghanaian students pursuing Diploma and Undergraduate Courses in any accredited Ghanaian tertiary institution.
The Ghana Gas Scholarship scheme has been instituted to award scholarships to brilliant but needy Ghanaian students.
It is open to both male and female students pursuing an Undergraduate Degree/Higher National Diploma (HND) program in tertiary institutions in Ghana.
To help you prepare, we have outlined the information you will need below.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicant must be a Ghanaian.
- Applicant must have an admission letter from any accredited tertiary institution in Ghana.
- Applicant must not be on any other scholarship.
- Applicant must not be above the age of thirty-five (35) years at the time of applying for the scholarship.
- Applicant must complete an online application form.
DOCUMENTS TO ATTACH AND DETAILS.
- Admission Letter
- SHS/Vocational/Technical Certificate
- Ghana Card
- Recent passport-size picture
- Copies of examination results slips or transcripts (for continuing students)
- Any other Supporting Documents
Applicants must ensure that all the necessary documents to be attached to this application process are properly scanned and uploaded.
PERSONAL DETAILS/BACKGROUND
- Upload a recent passport-size picture.
- Passport Picture should be less than 200 KB.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Applicant shall upload the following certificates or result slips
- Senior High/Technical /Vocational school examination certificate
- Applicant shall upload an admission letter from his/her tertiary institution of study.
ESSAY REQUIREMENT
- Applicant shall complete and upload an essay on career objectives to justify his or her request for the scholarship from Ghana Gas. The essay should not be more than 200 words.
- The applicant may upload any other supporting document(s) that will assist in the processing of the application.
APPLICANT EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
- If an applicant is an employee, the name, address, and contact information of the employer and the current payslip will be required.
ENDORSEMENT
- Applicant shall have the endorsement section of this application downloaded and endorsed by any of the following: clergy/pastor, legal practitioner, Chief or a senior civil/public servant, and uploaded to the list of attached documents.
- Applicant pursuing HND/Undergraduate degree programmes beyond the four-year purview of the Scholarship Scheme shall have the undertaking section of this application process signed by the prospective applicant’s parents/guardian.

VERIFICATION
Applicant shall require one of the following as a form of identification
- Ghana card
- Birth certificate
- Passport
PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATIONS
All applicants are required to visit the Ghana Gas website to access the scholarship portal to complete the online application form.
- Go to https://www.ghanagas.com.gh
- Navigate to the “Sustainable Business” section on the menu
- Click on “Company Scholarship” and proceed with your application.
- Further details regarding the application process and requirements can be found in the “Guideline” section of the scholarship application portal.
PLEASE NOTE
- All correspondence shall be between Ghana Gas and the applicant only.
- Scholarship applications shall be received ONLY through the scholarship application portal.
- Misrepresentation in any material form renders the application null and void. Award made based on that shall be withdrawn, and the person(s) involved shall be prosecuted.
