The Radboud Scholarship Programme 2027–28 offers an excellent opportunity for talented international students to pursue an English-taught Master’s degree at Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Degree Level
- The Radboud University Scholarship 2027–28 is available for Master’s degree programmes.
- It is not a Bachelor’s or PhD scholarship.
- The scholarship applies to eligible full-time English-taught Master’s programmes at Radboud University, with Erasmus Mundus Master’s programmes and joint-degree Master’s programmes excluded.

- Applicants must hold a non-EU/non-EEA nationality and meet the programme’s other eligibility requirements.
Eligibility Criteria.
Applicants for the Radboud University Scholarship 2027–28 generally need to meet the following conditions:
- Hold a non-EU/non-EEA passport.
- Be applying for an eligible English-taught Master’s programme at Radboud University.
- Have completed or be completing a Bachelor’s degree obtained outside the Netherlands.
- Have no previous degree obtained in the Netherlands.
- Have not previously received education in the Netherlands, except for qualifying exchange studies that formed part of a Bachelor’s degree completed outside the Netherlands.
- Meet the English-language requirements of the selected Master’s programme.
- Be fully admitted or meet the admission requirements for the eligible Master’s programme.
- Be able to comply with Dutch visa and residence permit requirements.
- Be enrolled as a full-time student for the Master’s programme for which the scholarship is awarded.
The scholarship is highly competitive, so applicants are expected to demonstrate excellent academic performance and strong motivation.

Students do not submit a completely separate scholarship application outside the Master’s admission process.

Admission to a Master’s programme and selection for the scholarship are separate processes. Being admitted to Radboud University does not automatically mean that an applicant will receive the scholarship.

Radboud Scholarship and NL Scholarship:
Radboud University also offers the NL Scholarship, which is a separate partial scholarship for non-EU/non-EEA students.
For 2027–28, the NL Scholarship provides €5,000 and is available for selected English-taught Master’s programmes. The university states that applicants for the NL Scholarship must also apply for the Radboud Scholarship Programme. Students may receive both scholarships or only the Radboud Scholarship.
