Prospective Level 100 students seeking admission to Ghana’s public Colleges of Education are expected to report to their respective institutions on October 12, 2026, for the commencement of the 2026/2027 academic year.
The reporting date is contained in the 2026/2027 academic calendar issued by the National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF) for all public Colleges of Education in Ghana.
With the reporting date now approaching, applicants who have submitted their applications are encouraged to remain prepared as the admission process moves into its final stages.
Application Deadline
- The sale and submission of applications for admission into the public Colleges of Education for the 2026/2027 academic year will close on August 31, 2026.
- Applicants who have not yet completed their applications are therefore encouraged to do so before the deadline.
- Those who have already submitted their applications are advised to regularly monitor their application status and remain attentive to official communication from the Colleges of Education.
Admissions Expected From September
- Admissions for successful applicants are expected to begin arriving from the second week of September 2026.
- Applicants who meet the admission requirements and are selected by their respective institutions will receive information regarding their admission and subsequent reporting arrangements.
- Successful applicants are therefore encouraged to begin making the necessary preparations ahead of the release of their admission notices.
Level 100 Students to Report on October 12
- According to the PRINCOF academic calendar, Level 100 students will report to their respective Colleges of Education on Monday, October 12, 2026.
- The date marks the beginning of the first session of the first semester for Levels 100, 200 and 300 students.
- The first session is scheduled to run for 10 weeks, after which students will break for the Christmas holidays on December 19, 2026.
- Level 100 students will return to campus on January 11, 2027, to begin the second session of the first semester.
- The first semester examinations are scheduled for January 25 to February 5, 2027, with students expected to proceed on vacation from February 6, 2027.
