Mampong Technical College of Education has opened applications for several teaching and non-teaching positions as part of efforts to strengthen its academic and administrative workforce.
The college invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for Teaching and Non-Teaching Positions in the College as follows:
Teaching Areas (Lecturers) Available and Qualification & Experience:
EDUCATION
An applicant must hold a terminal degree (Ph.D.), an M.Phil., and a First Degree in Education (preferably, measurement & evaluation), and must have served as a Lecturer in a College of Education or a recognised Analogous Institution for at least two (2) years.
An applicant in a Ph.D. programme may be considered.
A PGDE Certificate is mandatory for applicants who did not pursue Education programmes.
TECHNICAL
An applicant must hold a Terminal Degree (Ph.D.), an MPhil., and a First Degree in Wood Science or Wood Technology, and must have served as a Lecturer in a College of Education or a recognised Analogous Institution for at least two (2) years.
An applicant in a Ph.D. programme may be considered.
A PGDE Certificate is mandatory for applicants who did not pursue Education programmes.
VOCATIONAL
An applicant must hold a Terminal Degree (Ph.D.), an MPhil, and a First Degree in Clothing & Textiles and must have served as a Lecturer in a College of Education or a recognised Analogous Institution for at least two (2) years.
An applicant in a Ph.D. programme may be considered.
A PGDE Certificate is mandatory for applicants who did not pursue Education programmes.
GENERAL
An applicant must hold a Terminal Degree (Ph.D.), an MPhil, and a First Degree in Liberal Studies or African Studies or a related area, and must have served as a Lecturer in a College of Education or a recognised Analogous Institution for at least two (2) years.
An applicant in a Ph.D. programme may be considered.
A PGDE Certificate is mandatory for applicants who did not pursue Education programmes.
CREATIVE ARTS
An applicant must hold a Terminal Degree (Ph.D.), an MPhil, and a First Degree in Fine Arts and must have served as a Lecturer in a College of Education or a recognised Analogous Institution for at least two (2) years.
An applicant in a Ph.D. programme may be considered.
A PGDE Certificate is mandatory for applicants who did not pursue Education programmes.
NON-TEACHING AREAS AVAILABLE
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANCE
An applicant must possess a good First Degree from a recognised institution and must have served in a related position with at least two (2) years post-qualification relevant experience.
The applicant must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office applications and other office productivity tools.
JUNIOR ASSISTANT REGISTRAR
An applicant must possess a Master’s Degree in Administration, Management, Public Administration, Human Resource Management, Educational Administration, or a related field from a recognised institution and must have served in a related position with at least two (2) years post-qualification relevant experience.
The applicant must demonstrate proficiency with ICT applications, as well as analytical, organisational, and communication skills, in a tertiary education environment.
WORKS AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
An applicant must have a Minimum First Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Technology or Related Discipline and must have served in a related position with at least one (1) year post-qualification relevant experience.
