Scholarship Objectives.
The Leukaemia Foundation PhD Scholarship aims to:

- Foster long-term careers in blood cancer research

Eligible projects must align with at least one of the foundation’s strategic investment areas:
- Implementation Science
- Prevention, Early Detection, and Diagnostics
- Therapies and Treatment
Projects should demonstrate measurable impact, clear milestones, and expected outcomes within the funding period. Appropriate stakeholder or consumer involvement is also required.
BENEFITS.
The scholarship provides:
- $150,000 over three years (full-time PhD).
This funding supports living and research expenses. The scholarship cannot be held alongside another PhD scholarship, except for a tuition fee exemption. If another concurrent scholarship is accepted, the Leukaemia Foundation funding will be discontinued.

Eligibility Criteria.
Applicants must:
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Commence their PhD in mid of current year or next year.
- Enroll at an eligible Australian university or research institute
- Have a qualified primary supervisor and supervisory team
- Commit full-time to the PhD project
Applicants from health and medical science, clinical care, pharmacy, nursing, allied health, and public health backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
