Under instructions from the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service, you are hereby directed by the Management of the Regional Directorate of Education to step aside from your position as the Headmaster of Dzodze-Penyi Senior High School with immediate effect.
This directive arises consequent upon your alleged involvement in sexual misconduct with some female students of Dzodze-Penyi SHS, which allegations require urgent investigation into. The temporary cessation of your official duties is deemed necessary to guarantee the integrity of the investigative process and to preclude any real or perceived interference therewith.
Accordingly, you are hereby instructed to forthwith, formally hand over all official duties, responsibilities, records, and any property of the Dzodze-Penyi SHS presently under your custody to the Municipal Director of Education for Ketu North.
You are also required to vacate the school premises on Monday, 8th December 2025, after handing over. Nonetheless, you shall remain available at all material times to assist the competent authorities in the conduct of the investigation and refrain from any form of direct or indirect contact with the female students concerned and any potential witnesses.
For the avoidance of doubt, this directive does not constitute a determination or presumption of guilt on your part, but is an administrative measure issued in furtherance of due process and institutional accountability.
The Municipal Director of Education for Ketu North is hereby directed to take charge of the administration and management of the school until further notice.
Background Story
The headmaster of Dzodze-Penyi Senior High School, Mr. Joshua Yao Vidzro, is under investigation following allegations that he impregnated a third-year student and defiled a 14-year-old first-year student.
A final year student whose name is withheld has been confirmed pregnant by St Anthony Hospital in Dzodze. She alleged that the headmaster had sexual intercourse with her against her will.
A 14-year-old first-year student has also alleged that the headmaster took her to a hotel in Dzodze and sexually assaulted her.
The senior Headmistress, Madam Eva Kueliho, confirmed the report to Fafaa 100.3 FM and said the school has begun internal investigations.
In an interview, the headmaster denied the allegations, describing them as attempts to tarnish his image. He added that he is willing to undergo a DNA test if required. Mr. Vidzro denied the allegations, claiming they were attempts by individuals opposed to the developments he is bringing to the school.
Mr. Vidzro, swore by the ancestral stool god of “Togbi Satsike” that he did not impregnate the student. However, he also stated that when a woman claims a man has impregnated her, it is best to accept and allow a DNA test to confirm paternity, adding that he is willing to take responsibility and be willing to accept the baby for a proper DNA test to be conducted.

Pregnant Student: Sir, Good Morning
Headmaster: Morning
Pregnant Student: Sir! It’s me …::……. Student mentioned her name (Name withheld)
Headmaster Mr. Vidzro: Aaaheeeee
Pregnant Student: Sir! I told you that I am pregnant, but I did not tell my parents, so I called you to ask what you are going to do about it.
Headmaster Mr. Vidzro: I am going to the funeral. If I come, we will talk.
Pregnant Student: Please, you say?
Headmaster Vidzro repeats: I am going to the funeral. If I come back, we will talk.
Pregnant Student: Sir! You call me back on this number
Headmaster, Mr. Vidzro: Okay
Pregnant Student: Thank you!

Several students, during undercover interactions, alleged that sexual harassment is widespread in the school. They claimed that some nearby hotels have become hotspots where certain unscrupulous teachers, the headmaster, and some Customs and Immigration officers engage in predatory activities involving vulnerable students. They further stated that these acts are contributing to the declining academic performance of the school.
Fafaa 100.3 FM investigation team has confirmed that the BNI and the Ghana police service are on top of investigations.
