NSS2025 Registration: Guidelines on how to resolve registration challenges of prospective national service personnel
NSS2025 Registration: Guidelines on how to resolve registration challenges of prospective national service personnel.
The National Service Authority (NSA) has issued guidelines to help prospective national service personnel who are facing difficulty in registering for national service.
The NSA on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 announced the opening of the National Service Portal, cancelling all registrations that were made in June 2025.
Since then NSA says its attention has been drawn to a number of issues related to the ongoing online registration exercise for the 2025/2026 batch of national service personnel including the inability of personnel to register on the portal due to data mis-match.
NSA says its check has identified incorrect Date of Birth (DOB) and Name(s) as the major setback preventing a successful registration for prospective personnel.
The Authority has therefore requested prospective personnel to strictly comply with following guidelines to enable successful registration;
- “That where the details of a prospective national service personnel, as submitted by his/her tertiary institution, does not match with his/her Ghana Card, the personnel in question MUST swear an affidavit, gazette it and submit same to the school. The school will then forward the details to the Authority to amend its records, thereby allowing the personnel to register.”
- “In the event where the details of a prospective national service personnel as submitted by his/her tertiary institution was wrongly captured by the said tertiary institution, the prospective national service personnel must notify the institution of the error. The tertiary institution shall rectify the error and communicate same to the Authority.”
- “Tertiary institutions should submit corrected details viaclasslist@nss.gov.gh and copy in tweneboah.kodua@nss.gov.gh”
The Authority is committed to ensuring that all eligible prospective personnel duly register to undertake their mandatory national service in areas of national priority for national development.
“In case of further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact our District and Regional offices for the necessary support. Alternatively, you may please contact our support services at the Head Office,” NSA said.
