Police rescue a woman mysteriously stuck on an avocado tree.
Residents of Agric Afasebon, a community in Kumasi, were left bewildered after a woman was discovered stranded on an avocado tree in the early hours of the morning.
The unusual scene unfolded when the landlord of the house where the tree stands reportedly woke up to the sound of dogs barking.
Curious about the disturbance, he stepped out and found the woman perched on the tree, trembling in the cold as rain poured down.
Eyewitness Stephen said the sight quickly drew the attention of neighbours, many of whom were shocked and unsettled by the discovery.
While some residents suspected the woman of being a witch, others simply struggled to understand how she had ended up on the tree in the first place.
According to reports, a ladder was eventually used to bring her down.
By then, a growing crowd had gathered outside the house, some visibly agitated by the incident.
Police officers arrived shortly afterward and moved swiftly to take the woman away in a pickup truck.
Her face was covered as she was escorted from the scene to shield her from the crowd.
