The Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) wishes to announce that payment of arrears due to affected education and health workers, dating back to August 2024, has commenced and will be completed in accordance with the approved schedule.
For the avoidance of doubt, the payment schedule is as follows:
| PAYMENT MONTH | NUMBER OF MONTHS’ ARREARS |
| 1. May | 4 months |
| 2. June | 4 months |
| 3. July | 4 months |
| 4. August | 4 months |
It is important to note that the first tranche payment will be completed by Friday, 29th May 2026.
The Department further states that the remaining tranches will be paid in accordance with the approved schedule stated above.
