The A*STAR Research Internship Award (ARIA) is a prestigious paid research internship program in Singapore offered by the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR).

- Open to students from local and overseas universities
ARIA Internship Coverage.
- Monthly Allowance S$1,600 – S$2,000 per month
- The allowance supports students throughout the internship period while gaining valuable research exposure.
Eligibility Criteria.
Applicants must:
- Be an undergraduate (2nd year or above)
Be studying in:
- Computing & Information Sciences
- Engineering & Technology
- Physical Sciences
- Biomedical, Life, or Food Sciences
- Be on track for at least a Second Upper Class Honours or equivalent (CGPA ≥ 4.0 / 5.0 or equivalent)
- Demonstrate a strong interest in a research or R&D career
- Not previously awarded the ARIA internship
Internship Duration.
- 16–24 weeks (during academic semester), or
- 12 weeks (during vacation period)
Duration is subject to the minimum internship requirements set by the applicant’s university or faculty.
