The Trinity Fellows Program at Marquette University is a graduate fellowship dedicated to developing leaders committed to social and economic justice.
The program offers a 21-month combination of academic study and practical experience, providing fellows with a master’s degree while engaging in meaningful work with partner organizations in urban communities.
Program Overview.
- Trinity Fellows participate in a structured program that balances graduate coursework with hands-on professional development.
- Fellows work alongside organizations tackling social challenges, gaining experience that enhances their leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- The program is open to graduate students who are committed to making a positive impact in urban communities.
Who Should Apply for the Fellowship?
We invite those who meet our eligibility requirements and who demonstrate the following to apply to the Trinity Fellows Program.
Candidates from underrepresented groups in graduate studies, including people of colour, are encouraged to apply.

Duration and Structure.
- Length: 21 months
- Academic Component: Master’s degree in one of 16 fields of study
- Professional Experience: Placement with a partner organization to support community and organizational initiatives
