2025 Ghana National Fire Service Recruitment: General Eligibility.
An eligible applicant must:
- Be a Ghanaian citizen by birth.
- Be with no criminal record and of good character.
- Not have been dismissed from any public service or any other employment.
- Be not less than 18 years and not more than 35 years of age for the Officer Corps by 1st November 2025
- Be not less than 18 years and not more than 32 years of age for non-Tradesmen by 1st November 2025
- Be not less than 18 years and not more than 35 years of age for Tradesmen /artisans by 1st November 2025
- Be physically and medically fit by Fire Service standards.
- Be of a minimum height of 1.73 metres /173 cm / (5ft 8 inches) for males and 1.63 metres /163 cm / (5ft 4 inches) for females.
- Have five (5) credits (not less than Grade 6) at BECE
- Be not Bonded by any organization
- Have five (5) passes (Up to Grade C6, including English and Mathematics) at WASSCE/SSSCE or the requisite credit/passes in respective trade qualifications from GES Intermediate or Advanced Level.
ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR 2025 OFFICER CORPS
In addition to satisfying requirements in general eligibility, applicants must have a minimum of a first degree (at least Second-Class Lower Division) from an Accredited University in the under-listed fields;
