USA Government Tomorrow’s Leaders Program Undergraduate Scholarships 2025-2026 (Fully Funded).

The Tomorrow’s Leaders Program 2025–2026 is now open for applications! Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI), this prestigious program offers fully funded undergraduate scholarships and leadership training for outstanding students from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Since its launch in 2006, the Tomorrow’s Leaders Program has empowered young changemakers across the MENA region by partnering with top American-style universities in the region — the American University in Cairo (AUC), the American University of Beirut (AUB), and the Lebanese American University (LAU).

Degree Level

  • The program offers undergraduate scholarships for highly motivated high school students and recent graduates who demonstrate leadership potential, strong academic performance, and financial need.

AVAILABLE SUBJECTS

Participants can pursue a wide range of undergraduate disciplines, depending on offerings at partner universities, such as:

  • Business and Economics
  • Political Science and International Relations
  • Engineering and Computer Science
  • Media and Communication
  • Social Sciences and Humanities
  • Public Health and Environmental Studies

The aim is to equip students with the skills needed to lead positive change within their communities and beyond.

BENEFITS

This is a fully funded scholarship program covering all major expenses for selected students, including:

  • Full tuition and enrollment fees
  • University housing
  • Monthly living stipend
  • Visa and residency permit fees
  • Health insurance
  • Textbooks and a laptop
  • Two round-trip airfare tickets home per year
  • Study abroad semester in the United States

In addition to academic coursework, students participate in:

ELIGIBLE NATIONALITIES

  • Applicants must be citizens or nationals of one of the following countries or territories:
  • Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Syria, Tunisia, the West Bank/Gaza, or Yemen.
  • Note: U.S. citizens and U.S. legal permanent residents are not eligible to apply.

To be eligible for the Tomorrow’s Leaders Program 2025–2026, applicants must:

  • Be final-year high school students or recent graduates (Class of 2025).
  • Applicants from Iraq, Libya, Syria, the West Bank/Gaza, and Yemen who graduated in 2024 are also eligible.
  • Demonstrate strong academic credentials and maintain high academic achievement throughout the application process.
  • Exhibit leadership potential, maturity, and adaptability.
  • Demonstrate financial need with supporting documentation.
  • Show English language proficiency with a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 80 (valid within two years of program start).
  • Be able to travel and begin studies in August 2026.

  • Upload all required documents, including academic transcripts, English test scores, financial statements, and essays.

  • Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
