- Electronic and Electrical Engineering MSc
- Civil and Structural Engineering MSc

- Non-UK residents
- Have not lived in the UK previously
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Siddall Sheffield Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Be a US citizen, not residing or previously resident in the UK
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.7 (preferred)
- Be self-funded and eligible for overseas tuition fees at Sheffield
- Be applying for Autumn 2026 entry (no deferrals allowed)
Application Procedure
To apply, complete the following steps by 13 January 2026 (5 pm UK time):
- Submit an online application through the University of Sheffield’s scholarship portal
- Provide a 500-word engineering research proposal
- Include a 500-word civic engagement essay
- Upload one academic reference from a faculty member
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a virtual interview in March 2026
- Final results will be announced by 31 March 2026
