Eligible Fields
Applicants may apply for any of the Master’s degree programmes offered at the University of Twente, except:
- Pre-Master’s programmes
- ITC faculty programmes

To qualify for the UTS 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a citizen of a non-EU/EEA country.
- Secure provisional admission into a University of Twente Master’s programme for the 2026/2027 academic year.
- Not having graduated from a UT undergraduate or graduate programme.
- Belong to the top 5–10% of their graduating class, showcasing academic excellence.
- Possess a valid UT student number after admission.
Meet English language requirements:
- IELTS: minimum 6.5 overall, with 6.0 in speaking, OR
- TOEFL iBT: minimum 90 overall, with at least 20 in speaking.
- Demonstrate the ability to finance the remainder of study and living expenses, as UTS provides partial funding.
- Comply with Dutch visa and immigration requirements.
- Students who are Dutch, from the EU/EEA, enrolled in pre-Master’s or ITC faculty programmes, or eligible for Dutch study loans, are not eligible.
