  • IELTS: minimum 6.5 overall, with 6.0 in speaking, OR
  • TOEFL iBT: minimum 90 overall, with at least 20 in speaking.
  • Demonstrate the ability to finance the remainder of study and living expenses, as UTS provides partial funding.
  • Comply with Dutch visa and immigration requirements.
  • Students who are Dutch, from the EU/EEA, enrolled in pre-Master’s or ITC faculty programmes, or eligible for Dutch study loans, are not eligible.

Applicants are evaluated on several factors to determine their suitability for the award. These include:

  • Outstanding academic performance (top 5–10% of graduating class).
  • Proof of admission to a qualifying Master’s programme.

  • If eligible, you may also apply for the Kipaji Scholarship in addition to the UTS.

  • Round 1: 15 October 2025 (09:00 CET) – 1 February 2026 (16:00 CET)
  • Round 2: Up to 1 May 2026 (for September 2026 intake)
