Applications are invited for an enthusiastic and proactive Research Technician to join the Bertuzzi group at the Manchester Fungal Infection at the University of Manchester.

The post is available from the 1st of February 2026 on a full-time basis for 24 months, with the possibility to extend.

The candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary team of researchers, working on a Wellcome Trust-funded project investigating how Mucorales fungi adapt to natural and in-host environments and how stress adaptation drives infection, utilising our cutting-edge experimental workflows and unrivalled access to clinical and environmental isolates.

The candidate will provide technical and administrative support to the research activities within the Bertuzzi lab.
