Police declare Mark Agingre wanted for multiple murders in Binduri; GHC1m bounty announced.
The Ghana Police Service has launched a manhunt for a suspect identified as Mark Agingre, a native of Binduri, believed to be behind a series of gruesome murders in the Binduri District and surrounding communities in the Upper East Region.
According to police reports, the suspect is wanted in connection with the murder of a man, his wife, and three children on November 7, 2025. This attack also left another child in critical condition at the Bolgatanga Government Hospital.
The Police have announced a GH₵1 million reward for anyone who provides credible information leading to the suspect’s arrest.
According to a statement issued by the police, Mark Agingre is also suspected of having murdered an elderly man and his two children on October 27, 2025, also in Binduri.
Police say preliminary findings suggest he may be responsible for several other targeted killings in the area.
The public is therefore urged to contact the nearest police station or call the emergency lines 191 or 18555 with any useful information on the suspect’s whereabouts.
The Police, in a statement, assured that every effort is being made to track down the suspect and bring him to justice, while calling on residents to remain calm and cooperate with security agencies.
