This scholarship helps talented students with limited financial means to excel in one of Europe’s top-rated data science programs.

The Jheronimus Academy of Data Science (JADS) is a leading academic institution in the Netherlands dedicated to education and research in data science and entrepreneurship.

Benefits

  • The JMJ Scholarship is funded by the Sisters of the Society of Jesus Mary Joseph (JMJ), a congregation founded in the 19th century by Rev. Fr. Mathias Wolff S.J. in the Netherlands.

This scholarship provides:

  • 50% tuition fee waiver for the first academic year
  • An additional 50% tuition fee waiver for the second year, provided the student passes 8 out of 10 courses in the first year
  • This makes the JMJ Scholarship 2026 an excellent choice for high-achieving students with strong motivation and financial need.

Eligible Nationalities

  • This scholarship is open to international students from non-EU/EEA countries.

To qualify for the JADS JMJ Scholarship 2026, applicants must:

  • Be a non-EU/EEA citizen
  • Be conditionally or unconditionally admitted to the Master’s in Data Science in Business and Entrepreneurship at JADS
  • Demonstrate financial need through official documentation
  • Note: The scholarship does not apply to the Pre-Master’s program.

Application Procedure

Applicants must submit their application package in PDF format to the Admissions Office at JADS via email at questions@jads.nl before the deadline:

  • Spring Intake (February 2026): 1 November 2025

Required Documents:

  • Scanned copy of your ID
  • Admission letter to the Master’s DSBE program
  • Motivation letter explaining why you deserve the scholarship
  • Certified proof of insufficient financial capacity (with English translation if necessary)
  • Resume (CV)

Selection Process

  • After submission, eligible applicants will be invited for an online interview (via Skype or MS Teams) with the Scholarship Selection Committee.
  • The final decision will be communicated within two weeks after the interview.
