The KNB Scholarship (Kemitraan Negara Berkembang Scholarship) is a fully funded international scholarship offered by the Government of Indonesia through the Directorate General of Higher Education.
It aims to strengthen global cooperation by providing students from developing countries the opportunity to pursue Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees at top Indonesian universities.

Eligibility Criteria.
For Bachelor’s Degree Applicants
- Maximum age: 21 years
- High School graduate (Bachelor’s degree holders are not eligible)
- Valid passport (valid through at least December of the intake year)
- Embassy Recommendation Letter (mandatory)
- Academic transcripts legalized by relevant authorities
General Requirements (All Levels)
- Non-Indonesian citizen
- Good academic background
- Strong academic and/or professional recommendations
- English or Bahasa Indonesia documents
- Commitment to completing studies in Indonesia
Application Procedure.
- Download the KNB Scholarship Offer Letter from the official website.
- Contact the Indonesian Embassy or Consulate in your home country
- Submit the required academic and administrative documents to obtain an Embassy Recommendation Letter
- Register online through the official KNB Scholarship portal
- Upload all required documents in JPEG/JPG format (max 300 KB per file)
- Complete the application and submit it before the deadline
