- SSCE/WASSCE passes in Mathematics and Science, or have a technical background.

- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)/Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
- Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE).
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).
- Software Engineering.
- Network Engineering.
- Telecom Engineering.
- Server Management.
- Ethical Hacking.
- Cyber Security.
Hardware Technicians.
- At least one of the Diplomas/Certificates below, in addition to SSCE/WASSCE:
- COMPTIA A+.
- Networking Engineering.
- COMPTIA N+.
- Telecom Engineering.
Radio Technician.
At least one of the Diplomas/Certificates below, in addition to SSCE/WASSCE:
- Telecom Technician (part II or part III).
- Electronic/Electronic Technicians (Part II or Part III).
- Radio Servicing Technician.
- RF Engineer/ RF Technician.
- Power System Technician.
- Microwave Technician.
Telephone Technician.
At least one of the Diplomas/Certificates below, in addition to SSCE/WASSCE:
- Telecom Technician (Part II or Part III).
- Repairs/Maintenance of Equipment.
- Electronic/Electronic Engineering.
- Fibre Optic Technology.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (VOIP).
Information Technology (IT).
In addition to the General Eligibility, applicants must have 6 passes at WASSCE, including English, Mathematics, and a Diploma or Certificate in any of the following:
Network Administration.
- N+ Certificate from a recognised Institution, including knowledge in LINUX/Windows Server 2003, 2008 and above.
Database Administration.
- Certification in MySQL, SQL, and Oracle from a recognised Institution.
Computer Programming.
- Certification in VB, C++, and Java from a recognised Institution.
Web Designing.
- Certification in HTML, PHP, CSS, CMS, Adobe, and Photoshop from a recognised Institution
Supply and Transport Corps.
In addition to the General Eligibility, applicants must have 6 passes at WASSCE, including English and Mathematics, and any of the following:
Drivers.
- Professional Driving Licence Class B. (Minimum Class B).
Supply Clerks/Storeman.
- Certificate in computer software applications (Word, Excel, Access, CorelDRAW, etc.) from a recognised Institution.
- Diploma/Certificate in Freight Forwarding/Air Travel and Tour from a recognised Institution.
Fireman/Woman.
- Certificate in Fire Fighting from the National Fire Service, plus a professional Driving Licence class B.
Cooks.
In addition to the General Eligibility, applicants must have the following qualifications from a recognised Institution:
- HND in Catering.
- Diploma in Catering.
- NVTI Cert I & II/Proficiency II.
Public Relations Corps.
In addition to the General Eligibility, applicants must have any of the following:
Information Assistants.
- Diploma/Certificate (not less than one year continuous study) from a recognised/accredited institution in Journalism, Public Relations, English Language /Literature, Broadcasting, Communication Studies or Photo journalism.
Photographers.
- Diploma/Certificate (not less than one year continuous study) from a recognised/accredited institution in general photography.
Cinematographer.
- Diploma/Certificate (not less than one year continuous study) from a recognised/accredited institution in Fine Art, Film Editing, Camera Work, Lighting, Film Directing, Sound, Graphic Design or Animation.
Ordnance Corps.
Storeman/Woman.
- In addition to General Eligibility, applicants must have 6 passes at WASSCE and a Diploma in Business Studies and an HND in Purchasing and Supply.
Ammunition Technicians.
- In addition to General Eligibility, applicants must have 6 passes at WASSCE and must be a science student.
Tailors/Textiles & Cobblers/ Leather Works.
In addition to General Eligibility, applicants must have any of the following:
- GES Intermediate Certificate.
- COVET Certificate II.
- NVTI Grade I & II.
Clerk General Duties.
In addition to General Eligibility, applicants must have 6 passes at WASSCE, including Credit in English and Mathematics and any of the following:
- RSA Stage III in secretarial duties and credit in typing.
- Typist Grade I and II Certificate from the Government Secretarial School.
- Stenographer Grade II Certificate.
- DBS (Secretarial Option).
- Certificate in computer software applications (Word, Excel, Access, CorelDRAW, etc) from a recognised Institution.
Education Corps.
In addition to General Eligibility, applicants must have 6 passes at WASSCE, including English and Mathematics and any of the following:
- Teachers Post-Secondary Certificate A.
- Teachers Post-Secondary Certificate A (French).
- Diploma in Education.
- Diploma in Education (French).
Sportsmen.
In addition to General Eligibility, applicants must have the following:
- Must be between 18 and 25 years of age.
- Proven track record in recognised sports discipline.
Be proficient in any of the following fields:
- Boxing
- Football
- Handball
- Basketball
- Hockey
- Tennis
- Table Tennis.
- Volleyball
- Athletics (Track & Field).
- Badminton
Meet GAF’s physical standards.
Pass a full medical examination.
Exhibit discipline, good character and team spirit.
Pass sports-specific trials during recruitment.
Shortlisted players or professionals will undergo justification in their respective sports disciplines.
Applicants affiliated with clubs and actively participating in recognised Sports Association Leagues shall have an added advantage during the selection process.
