Malaysia Scholarships Criteria
- No more than 40 to 45 years for master’s and doctorate, respectively.
- For the master’s degree, candidates must obtain a minimum of Second Superior Class (with honours) or a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Doctoral candidates must obtain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or very good results at the master’s level in a similar field to the planned doctorate.
- A written proposal, with at least 1,000 words, relevant to the field of study.
- Proof of English language proficiency, such as IELTS or TOEFL. OR Applicants who obtain degrees with English as a means of instruction can also be accepted (evidence is a prerequisite).
Financial coverage
- This scholarship will cover tuition fees.
- A monthly living allowance of RM 1,500.00 per month will be provided.
- Selected candidates are expected to independently organize their trips to Malaysia (non-financial provisions).
- The Malaysian government will not cover travel expenses.
- All applicants are strongly recommended to verify expected housing expenses in Malaysia.
