The Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA) Colleges of Agriculture in Ghana invite applications from qualified candidates for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The Agriculture Institutions are;

• Adidome Farm Institute

Where and How to Buy the Application Voucher.

• Purchase an application voucher from any GCB OR ADB Bank branch for two hundred Ghana Cedis (GH200.00). This includes the cost of WAEC verification of results and SMS alerts.
• Note that vouchers can also be purchased from GCB Bank via mobile phones by dialling *422-510# and from ADB Bank by dialling *7678#. Upon payment, the applicant will receive a voucher giving him/her a unique serial number (SN) and a Personal Identification Number (PIN)

• Certificate in General Agriculture: 1 year
• Certificate in Animal Health: 1 year
• Diploma in General Agriculture: 2 years
• Diploma in Animal Health: 2 years
• HND in General Agriculture: 3 years
• HND in Animal Health: 3 years

The aim is to train the youth in modern agricultural techniques to become commercial crop or livestock farmers, to promote food security and economic prosperity

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS.

#01. Certificate in General Agriculture and Certificate in Animal Health

Four (4) Passes including English Language and Mathematics, and relevant 2 elective subjects

• SSCE (A-E) with a cut-off point of 28
• WASSCE(A1-E8) with a cut-off point of 32
• For mature applicants, they must be 25 years old and must show proof of date of birth with any natural document, as well as at least two (2) years’ relevant working experience.

#02. Diploma in General Agriculture and Diploma in Animal Health.

Five (5) Passes, including English Language and Mathematics

• SSCE (A-E) with a cut-off point of 35
• WASSCE (A1-E8) with a cut-off point of 40
• For Mature Applicants, they must be at least 25 years old and must show proof of date of birth with any national document and two (2) years relevant industrial experience, as well as proof of passes in English Language and Mathematics in SSCE/WASSCE/CERTIFICATE IL

#03. HND in General Agriculture and HND in Animal Health

Six (6) Credit Passes, including English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science or Social Studies, and any 3 relevant elective subjects (3 core subjects and 3 elective subjects)

• SSSCE(A-D) with a cut-off point of 24
• WASSCE (A1-C6) with a cut-off point of 36

Opportunities Available After Completion.

• Self-employment opportunities along the Agricultural value chain.
• Graduates may form well-organised groups after training to source loans from financial institutions to embark on commercial agriculture.
• Graduates can take advantage of the numerous interventions by the government for the youth to enter agricultural production, processing, and agribusiness
