Restless Development, a global non-profit agency focused on youth leadership and impact, has opened applications for the Evaluation and Learning Coordinator position based in the United Kingdom.
This hybrid role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL), and a commitment to youth-led, socially impactful programming.
The Evaluation and Learning Coordinator will play a central role in the delivery and reporting of the Young Gamechangers Fund (YGF), a £4.5 million UK funding initiative supporting youth-led community change.
Grants of up to £20,000 per year empower young leaders to create safer, more inclusive, and sustainable communities.
The fund is delivered in partnership with the Co-op Foundation, Global Fund for Children, and the #iwill Fund, and is co-designed with young activists through a Youth Steering Group.
The Evaluation and Learning Coordinator job is essential to ensuring the Young Gamechangers Fund is accurately reported, measured, and represented.
The coordinator will work closely with key partners such as the Global Fund for Children, Co-op Foundation, Co-op, #iwill Fund, and the fund’s Evaluation and Learning Partner TSIP.
This role sits within Restless Development’s UK team, strengthening MEL practice, supporting grantees, and ensuring that youth-led initiatives can demonstrate their outcomes effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.
Data Reporting Coordination
- Coordinate data reporting from grantees at the start and end of projects.
- Collect indicators such as delivery method, participant reach, and IMD.
- Provide clear instructions and ongoing support for MEL requirements.
- Lead reporting processes, including monthly updates, reflections, and appraisals.
- Contribute to the fund’s close-down procedure for accurate, complete data.
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with partners to share updates, insights, and improvements.
- Provide regular internal updates on progress, challenges, and successes.
- Maintain strong collaboration with the Evaluation and Learning Partner, ensuring alignment with accessibility and youth-led values.
- Translate technical MEL data into accessible language for wider audiences.
Grantee Support
- Answer questions from grantees regarding impact measurement.
- Support grantees with tools, frameworks, and Theory of Change design where needed.
- Assist the delivery team with additional grantee support tasks.
Additional Duties
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the UK Programme Manager.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential
- Proven experience in MEL, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify technical information.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in Airtable, Excel, Google Forms, and other data tools.
- Confidence in coordinating stakeholders across teams and partner organisations.
- Commitment to inclusion, youth-led approaches, and participatory learning.
Desirable
- Experience working with young people or under-18s.
- Experience in grant-funded programme reporting.
- Ability to creatively present learning using visuals or storytelling.
- Understanding of the youth, social impact, or community development sectors.
- Experience supporting others in MEL.
JOB DETAILS
- Job Title: Evaluation and Learning Coordinator
- Location: Hybrid within the UK (option to work from home anywhere in the UK)
- Salary: £31,000 per annum
- Start Date: December 2025 (preferred)
- Contract Length: Fixed-term until August 2026
- Visa Requirement: Must have the right to work in the UK
- Other Requirements: Valid driving Licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle
- Reporting To: UK Programme Manager
- Travel: Occasional travel to London and other parts of the UK; some evenings/weekends (TOIL provided)
