2025 Ghana Police Service Recruitment: Specific Requirements for Graduates (General Duty) and Religious Affairs.
Graduates (General Duty)
The graduate recruits include degree holders, HND holders, and diploma holders while the religious affairs recruits include Ordained Minister or Chaplain and Iman.
DEGREE HOLDERS:
In addition to the general requirements an applicant
- must not be more than 35 years by 1/11/2025.
- must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (at least Second-Class Lower Division) from any recognized university.
HND/Holders:
In addition to the general requirements an applicant
- must not be more than 32 years by 1/11/2025
- must hold HND in any field of study from a recognized
- Technical University or any Tertiary Institution accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).
Diploma holders:
In addition to the general requirements an applicant
- must not be more than 32 years by 1/11/2025.
- must hold a Diploma in any field of study from a recognized Technical University or any Tertiary Institution accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).
Religious Affairs
ORDAINED MINISTER OR CHAPLAIN
In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must:
- must not be more than 40 years by 1/11/2025
- Have at least a first degree in Theology.
- Be of good standing in a Christian denomination approved by any of the following bodies; the Ghana Catholic Secretariat, the Christian Council of Ghana, the Pentecostal Council of Ghana or other recognized Christian Bodies.
IMAM
In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must:
- must not be more than 40 years by 1/11/2025
- Have at least a first degree in Islamic Studies with an excellent Knowledge in Arabic.
- Be of good standing in a Muslim denomination approved by any of the following bodies, the office of the National/ Regional Chief Imam, the office of the Ameer of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission or other similar nationally recognized Muslim bodies.
